New Pow-R-Command 2000: premier lighting control solution
In response to today's rising energy costs and increasing need to comply with the latest LEED, EPACT and ASHRAE requirements,
Eaton has expanded its Pow-R-Command offerings. The new Pow-R-Command 2000 (PRC 2000) is a premier lighting control solution
designed to save energy, reduce space and dramatically cut installation time. It can help a building become green and qualify
for LEED credits through the Canadian Green Building Council (CaGBC).
This microprocessor-based programmable system can be used to control all of the lighting in industrial facilities, high-rise
apartment and office buildings and airports.
It automatically switches lights and other power circuits on and off to yield
an immediate return on investment. It requires no additional equipment space or installation costs and can easily be
retrofitted into existing panelboards.

The
Pow-R-Command 2000 is a Web-enabled lighting control and energy management system that can be accessed around the
world through the use of a standard Web browser - no additional software required. Standard features include fluorescent
dimming, daylight harvesting, time-of-day/holiday scheduling, alarms, historical logging, switch override control, and
telephone override control.
Pow-R-Command 2000B (BACnet) is a Web-enabled controller, an ideal lighting control choice for integration with HVAC
building automation systems.
The PRC 2000 and the PRC 2000B can both be connected to Pow-R-Command expansion panels to increase the capability of control
up to 168 breakers from one controller.
The new Pow-R-Command 2000 confirms this statement from the New Buildings Institute: "Lighting controls can reduce energy
use by 50 percent in existing buildings and at least 35 percent in new construction".
