New Panelboard EZ Box and EZ Trim
New Panelboard EZ Box and EZ Trim allow faster and safer installations by eliminating hardware and removing
sharp edges.
Electrical contractors have said that Eaton's new EZ box and EZ trim represent "the first significant change in panelboard
box and trim designs in more than half a century."
Designed for faster, more secure and safer installations, the box and trim feature virtual elimination of sharp edges, trim
that installs in seconds rather than minutes, door-in-door standard, ability to adjust flush box to wall irregularities, trim
that installs without the need for tools, no exposed hardware (because there is none), and multipoint door latch over
breakers.

The product will be phased in over the next few months, beginning with the National Warehouse in Perth, Ontario. It will be
available as a no-charge alternative to our standard CFT trims and CS boxes in EEMAC Type 1 and Sprinkler Proof, 20-inch-wide
construction.
- All exposed edges in the panelboard chassis and on the box that were formerly galvanized metal have been changed to
painted steel. Painting rounds the edges, virtually eliminating all sharp edges.
- The average time to install trim is between five and eight minutes. The new EZ trim installs without the need for
tools in 20 seconds, thus saving valuable labor hours at the job site.
- Door-in-door feature is standard adding more convenience and time savings when the trim requires removal to access the
panel.
