New Pow-R-Line 1R Renovation Panelboard

Eaton introduces a new renovation panel, designed specifically to upgrade existing panelboards without the need to remove the existing box and conduits.

Introducing the Pow-R-Line 1R panelboard. This is first panelboard that is designed and specifically built for retrofit applications in existing panelboard back boxes. The Pow-R-Line 1R has simplified the process to retrofit 240-volt panelboards. Because it is designed specifically for this use, the need for extensive and confusing field measurements has been greatly simplified. Even the trim for the Pow-R-Line 1R is new and has been specifically designed to eliminate the dependence of the back box for attachment.

Pow-R-Line 1R features include a standard telescoping chassis that will fit in back box depths from 4½" to 6" deep. Options are available for shallower and deeper boxes. The trim fits on the telescoping chassis, thus eliminating the need for complex calculations on the existing back box flange types and mounting holes. The trim mounting hardware is concealed when the trim door is closed. The panelboard is rated for 240Vac and is available in single phase and three phase versions with bolt-on circuit breakers.

By enabling the customer to use the existing back box and conduits, the installer can save hundreds of dollars in demolition and rework costs. The Pow-R-Line 1R retrofit panelboard should become the contractors choice for renovation projects.
