Eaton's Powerchain™ Management solutions continue to bring improvements to the Water and Wastewater infrastructures through increased safety and better reliability. To reduce the risk of electrical burns, Eaton has been on the forefront of arc-free equipment design and just released the industry's first arc-free motor control center. These products provide the water industries with improved safety for employees as they work on equipment.

Eaton is continuing to develop solutions for power quality issues affecting water quality. Earlier this year Eaton introduced a cost-effective solution to handle power sags that result in the loss of UV treatment systems. The use of Sag Ride Through (SRT) allows facilities to improve the overall percentage of water they are fully treating by increasing the uptime of the UV lighting during and following a power sag. Through these and other solutions, Eaton is committed to innovation and design to help water facilities meet the ever-increasing governmental standards.
