New for 2010 - Double Throw 800A & 1200 Ampere
The 2010 expanded manual double throw switch offering provides 800Ampere fusible & 1200Ampere 240V & 600VAC/250V DC fusible
and non-fusible design. The innovative stacking mechanism design enables space savings as well as material savings.
Switches in type 1 and 3R enclosures are listed to UL98 and CSA certified to C22.2 no.4. Type 12/3R and 4/4X are UL/CSA
pending.

The key features of the stacked mechanism design for the 800A and 1200A
- Reduces number of fuses required - 3 fuses Vs 6 fuses
- Space savings with smaller enclosure
- Competes the DT line - full offering 30 to 1200A
Unlike the 30 to 600A offering, whereby the fusible switch can be field rewired to accommodate one source and two loads, the
800A fusible design is buss connected, thus field modification is not possible for 800A fusible. At 800A, two configurations
are available to accommodate either application. The 1200A fusible configuration is available for two sources and one load
only.
The catalogue number configuration is Eaton US based for the expanded line. We will retain our current Canadian configured
catalogue number for the 800A non-fusible 240V and 600V, 3phase with and without neutral as shown in the safety switch product
guide PG.35.02D.S.K pages 14 and 15. The enclosure for the 800A non-fusible is approximately three inches wider than
previous, allowing the option to field install the neutral.
