Sensing and Monitoring Relays
Current Sensing Relays - The AC current relay senses a preset current value and operates a SPDT relay whose contacts may
be used in a control circuit. Unlike apparatus intended for motor or branch circuit protection, the current relay
provides a continuously adjustable trip-current setting.
Resistance Sensing Relays - Type TF and TH Transistorized Relays are resistance sensitive devices. Operation of the
output or control relay occurs when the resistance in the sensing circuit is low enough to permit transistor
conduction.
Voltage Sensing Relays - The VSR voltage sensing relays are highly accurate,solid-state, AC voltage sensing devices
available in both overvoltage and undervoltage types. They include built-in locking shaft potentiometers for voltage and
differential adjustment.
D65 Voltage Monitoring Relays - Voltage Monitoring Relays protect distribution systems supplying motor feeder or branch
circuits against premature equipment failure caused by voltage faults on three-phase systems wye or delta connected.
Ground Fault Relays and Line Monitors - The D64 Ground Fault Relays are designed to provide reliable detection of
ground fault conditions on three-phase AC resistance grounded or solidly grounded electrical distribution systems. Type
D64L ground fault monitors are designed to monitor ungrounded supplies on 3-phase AC power systems up to 600V. If an
insulation fault develops anywhere on the system between the source and the load, the D64L will detect it and give an alarm or
trip, depending on the adjustable settings selected.
