Eaton's HMi is a true analog touchscreen (not touch cell like many devices) operator interface. With the ability to store recipes, historical and alarm data, or transfer data to a USB memory stick, using HMi makes interfacing with your machinery easier than ever.

All units offer RS-232, RS-485 and RS-422 communications. An expansive driver list allows you to communicate on the most popular networks used by over 20 brands of PLCs currently on the market.

HMiSoft software is the user-friendly program editor of HMi for Windows that simplifies configuring application parameters and provides added capabilities to make monitoring your system intuitive.

There are two HMi series of screens.

• The original HMi series is available in 4", 8" and 10" TFT colour screens. The 8" and 10" have an expansion slot located on the back of the unit, allowing you to connect to an Ethernet network or even I/O modules. IO modules use the same visualization configuration software to create ladder logic within the device, eliminating the need for a separate controller.
• The HMi VU series is available in 6", 7", 8", and 10" (wide screen) TFT colour screens. The HMi VU series has brighter TFT displays, more memory, faster processor, and enhanced software features over the existing HMi series. All models, except the 6", have built-in Ethernet. The HMi VU can be remotely monitored and controlled from a PC over Ethernet. The VU Server allows for data exchange to Microsoft Excel or ODBC databases such as SQL and Oracle.
