CMP Service Entrance Switchboards 1200 Amperes, 600Vac Maximum



CMP Switchboards are floor mounted, wall supported electrical distribution assemblies for use up to 1200A and 600Vac maximum.

The CMP is designed to combine the service disconnect device, utilility metering transformers, and distribution panel into one assembly. The design offers maximum flexibility where space is a premium and it is desirable to group electrical equipment.

Designed for the Canadian market, these switchboards are suitable for commercial to medium industrial applications and are CSA listed to C22.2 spec. 29 and 31 requirements.

Main Features

• Standard enclosures are EEMAC 1; sprinklerproof is optional.
• Structures are made of code guage galvanized steel with ASA61 Grey covers and doors.
• Optional open bottom or entry plates are available.
• Shipped as single cells or split when additional distribution cells are added.
• Interupting ratings to 100kA @ 600V // 200kA @ 240V.
• 50kA bus bracing is standard with optional 65kA-100kA available.
• Tin plated Aluminum or Silver flashed copper bus.
• Meets all provincial and municipal utility metering requirements.
• Sealing screws, knurled thumb screws and padlocking features are all included as standard.
• Utility ground studs available.
• Utility CT's and PT's can be easily factory or field installed.
• Wireways / Hydro stubs available.
• Accepts a large variety of customer metering.

Main Devices

• CMP-A1 - Accepts 400A to 800A Series C main breakers.
• CMP-A2 - Accepts 400A to 1200A Series C main breakers.

Distribution Devices

• CMP-A1 - Accepts up to 600A max Series C breaker.
• CMP-A2 - Accepts up to 1200A max branch breakers or Fusible switches.

CMP PLUS Optional Distribution Sections

• Optional 40X full height distribution sections are available.
• Transient Voltage Surge Suppression.
• Cross-over bus is included as standard.
• All distribution chassis' accept miniature breaker sub-panels (208V-BAB or 600Y/347V GBH breakers).
