Offpeak Charging

Pow-R-Command golf car off-peak charging By charging golf cars for their typical six-hour charge at midnight, golf courses are able to reduce an average of 90 kilowatts of demand on the electric grid during peak periods. An energy audit may reveal that by running pumps and golf-car charging off-peak and limiting the demand of HVAC units in club houses, it may be possible to reduce energy costs overall. This also helps position the golf course as a good neighbor relieving grid congestion during peak hours.
